Nikki's current set of pet projects. Aurora Systems began as an idea while we were building our own OpenSim grid.
As we searched the Hypergrid for the tools and systems we needed, we found that many of the available options were old, outdated, difficult to use, or simply no longer suited to the way virtual worlds operate today. Rather than settle for systems that did not meet our needs, we decided to create something better.
We wanted better for our grid—but the idea soon grew beyond a single virtual world.
Although our own grid is not currently online, the vision behind Aurora Systems never disappeared. DigiWorldz has given us a place to continue developing, testing, and turning those ideas into working products. It is where concepts become functional systems, refined through hands-on use in real regions, rentals, venues, businesses, and community spaces.
Aurora Systems is dedicated to creating reliable, practical, and thoughtfully designed tools for OpenSim virtual worlds. Our products are built for the people who bring those worlds to life: grid and region owners, community managers, venue operators, merchants, landlords, creators, and residents.
At its heart, Aurora Systems stands for progress. We believe virtual-world technology should continue to evolve rather than remain limited by systems created for an earlier era. A good system should do more than simply function—it should be intuitive, dependable, configurable, and designed around the real needs of the people using it.
Owners should not have to struggle with unnecessarily complicated setup procedures, and users should not need technical knowledge to understand how something works. From configuration and management controls to menus and resident-facing messages, every part of an Aurora Systems product is created to feel clear, purposeful, and easy to use.
Our growing collection includes rental and property-management systems, streaming and entertainment tools, contest and notice boards, and other products designed to support communities, businesses, and experiences throughout OpenSim. Some systems operate independently, while others can connect as part of a larger management network, giving customers the flexibility to create the setup that works best for them.
Every Aurora Systems product begins with a genuine need. We build and refine our systems while actively using them in working virtual environments, allowing us to identify problems, test solutions, and improve each product through real experience.
Aurora Systems is not tied to one grid, one region, or one community. It began with the desire to build something better for our own virtual world, but its purpose is to help creators and communities across OpenSim build something better for theirs.
